Hi! Thanks for visiting The Cookiery!

I grew up in a house where cookies meant Chips Ahoy and cakes meant the local bakery–we really never baked anything from scratch. Once I moved out and was on my own, I learned the joys of being in the kitchen and working with my hands. I fell in love with a handsome man and we made lots of cookies together. He proposed, I fell in love with a red Kitchenaid mixer–and here we are!

See that cookie in my hands? I made over 1,000 sugar cookies for my wedding (we only had 100 guests!) Each guest went away with a tiered sugar cookie and enough sugar to cause diabetic shock. I thought I’d never want to make (or see, or eat) another cookie for the rest of my life. Of course…that didn’t last long.

I love to cook, but I especially love to bake. I love to create in my kitchen. I’m Italian, and grew up believing that food is love. I haven’t given up on that yet and I hope to spend many more years in my kitchen, creating wonderful cookies, cakes, and candy with love.

If you’re looking for something tasty for yourself or a loved one, I’d love to hear from you!

“Sometimes me think what is love, and then me think love is what a cookie is for. Me give up the last cookie for you.”

I won a cake of yours at the Augusta Circle Circus. S’mores Baby cake. Oh My, it is AWESOME!!! We are eating it for dinner. Did you donate it? Thank you so much if you did. My little girl’s favorite show is Cakeboss and Food Network Cake Challenge. She loved this cake because it reminded her of the cakes she sees on tv. She is six and hopes to open a bakery. Thanks again.

Where do you sell your cakes?

Hi, I work with Sam Eaton, who was kind enough to share some of your cookies from his recent wedding with us . . . they were DELICIOUS!

I am wondering if you ship these and if so, could you please give me an estimate for two(2) dozen cookies shipped to Massachusetts or New Hampshire? I am thinking of ordering some as holiday gifts.

    Thank you,
    Mary Lou
